Our Story
NETA ILAN was founded in memory of our beloved son, brother, grandchild and friend Ilan Tokayer, z”l. Ilan invested his whole being in Tikun Olam – making the world a better place. He was a young man of many interests: educating the leaders of tomorrow as an active member of Bnei Akiva and other outreach programs, protecting the land and people of Israel as a volunteer soldier in the IDF, giving his all to those in need by participating in and leading world-wide chessed missions, and simply being an Or Lagoyim in his daily life, influencing and impacting all those around him through acts of personal kindness. Ilan continues to inspire those who knew and loved him to be better people and to make a difference in the world.
NETA ILAN will carry on Ilan’s legacy. It will make the world better through its many projects and causes; all of which are strongly linked to Ilan’s vast passions and values. Ilan’s impact and touch were far reaching; positively affecting many people and countless causes. The NETA ILAN Fund will strive to reach the breadths of Ilan’s zeal and fortitude, thereby continuing his everlasting influence. Building upon the mark Ilan has left, NETA ILAN will mitaken olam (perfect the world); pushing for and supporting its growth and development through world-wide Jewish communal work, education, and outreach projects.
